As a son of a banker, Mike learned at an early age how to plan and save his money. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Mike graduated from Rhode Island College and earned his BA in political science. After college, he joined the Bank of Boston where he began his financial career. During his early career, many of his positions focused on managing budgets and educating employees. When the opportunity presented itself in 2003, he got his license and became an advisor.
Since 2004, Mike has been using his experience by educating his clients and empowering them to make smart financial decisions. Additionally, over the last 16 years, Mike has had a concentrated focus on educating clients on Medicare and how to prepare for increased costs in healthcare in retirement. Mike has shared his knowledge with thousands of seniors and prides himself and his team on building long-term relationships and trust with each client.
Mike is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®. Mike is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) and holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as well as his health, disability, life, and annuities insurance licenses.
A native Rhode Islander, Mike lives in West Greenwich with his wife, Kerri, their three children, and two rescue hound dogs. Mike is a proud parent who coaches soccer and enjoys practicing meditation and yoga, hiking, kayaking, playing golf, and spending time with his bestie Kerri, preferably at local eateries, breweries, and wineries.

Maryellen has returned to her insurance roots, where she focused on products that assist the senior market. She transitioned from her career in public relations and marketing to team up with Mike and address the needs of his growing Medicare clientele. Maryellen loves getting to know clients and helping each one navigate toward their goals. She is proud of the relationships she has established and the comfort level that she and Mike share with their valued clients.
